Lucy's Special Week

Every child in Miss Patty's 4 year old classroom gets to have his/her own "special week". The child gets to choose the theme of the week for the classroom. Lucy chose cats. Of course. We read about cats, ate like cats, acted like cats, made cat puppets and masks, and had a real vet come in to talk with us about cats. Lucy also filled a suitcase with her favorite things from home to share with the class. Erik, Lola and I got to spend lots of time with Lucy & friends in her classroom. Fun... and exhausting (if you can't tell by Lola's tired eyes at circle time)!
