Lucy's KPrep Week

 Lucy had a fun practice-run at Kindergarten Camp for a week in August. She made new friends, met her teacher and got to know the school before all the other kids arrive.

Lucy isn't the only one who enjoyed her week of Kprep. 

Lola also had free reign of the Barbies at home.

In fact, even the cats had a moment or two of peace and quite around the house.

Earning a buck

During our recent visit to Litchfield,

GiGi offered to pay Lucy and Lola a dollar each to pose for her on the beach in hopes of gaining some ideal painting material. 

And here's what a buck will get ya....

 I'd say Lucy certainly earned her money!

Lola, however, was not such a willing beach model for us.

But we caught some good moments, all the same.

Hilton Head Island

The girls and I continued our Island hopping to meet dear friends in Hilton Head for a few days. The list of entertainment options is never short or dull with Beth, David, Elsie and Kit as our hosts! We had dance parties and bunk bed-style sleepovers, gourmet meals and paddle boarding, tennis lessons and sunset photo sessions, happy hour on the beach and laughs by the bucketful.
