Photography Weekly Challenges

In this new year, I've joined a photography group which assigns a subject each week... and my job is to take a photograph that relates to it. It's a fun way to make sure I have my camera out and challenges me to look for things in a new way. 

The girls love that I have "homework" assignments and have even helped me to stage a few of the shots so far. I'll post the first few assignments here and hope to add them weekly from now on. (Monika, I hope this will keep you satisified! ;)

Playing Catch Up

 This Fall I was so busy photographing other people's families (Check out www.LuLoPrints.com)... that I hardly had a chance to photograph my own. Well.... almost hardly. Here are some highlights:

Lucy lost her two front teeth! Here's a photo of when first one went...

An advantage to getting your daughter to school by 7:50, is capturing the changing leaves of the dogwood just outside our front door.

Lola celebrated her 4th birthday with classmates at school....

And the day of Lola's birthday, she had a party at home 

with a bouncy castle and 18 butterfly girls in the backyard!

Although the birthday girl was a bit camera-shy at her own party,
she was wide-open and ready for action later in the day at her friend's party!
