It was great to reunite with old friends again in Wrightsville Beach over New Year's weekend! We missed having the Wideners with us, but are so pleased that we'll get to meet their latest addition next year. We also lost Will this go-round to a bowl game. (Maybe next year they won't get that far. Am I allowed to say that?)
As for the three families who were there, we soaked up lots of fine sunshine and marveled at how all of the kids have grown in one year. Above and below: Emory (2 months older than Lola). Her sister, Caroline, was there too but managed to dodge the camera this year. Clever little thing!
